Rachel Eleanor Brown is an American artist born 1991 in Boston, MA and raised in southern Vermont. She is based in Brattleboro, Vermont as a tattoo artist and painter.  

 

In 2009, she was awarded a scholarship in fashion design by Teen Vogue magazine allowing her the opportunity to study art at Parsons the New School for Design in NYC.  She then pursued her apprenticeship in tattooing, trained by Jon Whitman, which led to opening Strange Brew Tattoo in 2011.  

Becoming a member of Brattleboro's Harmony Collective Artist Gallery, her show "Women in Punk" exhibited there in October 2023.  Current artwork can be viewed by appointment at her Elliot Street art studio, across the hall from

Strange Brew Tattoo.
